Public data and its sources
Earthquakes from USGS, typhoons from the Korea Meteorological Administration, electricity from KPX and KMA, sea level from NASA and the IPCC. The issuing body and a link to the raw data are stated, and where a value has been averaged, calculated, or simplified, the method appears on the screen and in the post.

Reference time and update lag
Even a screen that looks live has a lag. Which moment the data is from, why some items arrive a day late, and whether a value can change under review are written next to the result.

A measured value and a scenario projection are different things even on one chart. The line styles differ, and a projection shows the plausible range rather than only the median.
